A first-class honours graduate in economics and finance from the London School of Economics, he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a diploma in corporate governance from the Institute of Directors. His career includes 20 years as chief executive officer for leading groups in Cyprus and internationally, notably at one of the world’s premier online financial investments trading firms. With extensive experience in corporate governance, he has held executive directorships at listed public companies and various other organisations. He currently serves as the chairman of the council of the University of Cyprus.
