Dionysis Dionysiou was born on June 15,1960, in Limassol. He graduated from Laniteio Gymnasium in Limassol and served in the National Guard from 1978 to 1980. He holds a degree in history from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He graduated from the English Language Institute of Queens University in New York and then attended postgraduate courses at the same university. As a journalist, he worked for the newspapers “Proini tis Neas Yorkis”, “Eleftheria tis Gnomis” and “Alithia”. He collaborated with the magazines “To Perioiko” of Dias Group and ‘Selides’ of Phileleftheros Group and was a Political Editor at the radio stations “Radio Proto”, “Astra” and “Third Program of RIK”. From 1992 to 1994, he presented the political show “Dialogue” on RIK television. From 1999 to 2015, he served as a Publishing Advisor for “Politis” Newspaper. In 2016, he took over the position of General Manager. He has published dozens of articles, analyses, political biographies, opinions and chronicles on political, educational, and social issues, as well as on developments in our national issue, the Cyprus problem.
