Founded in 1982, the Cyprus Communication Agencies Association (CCAA) is the official body representing advertising and communication agencies in Cyprus. The CCAA has been an active member of the European Association of Communications Agencies since 1990. In 2019, the CCAA organized an awards’ competition for the first time. The Carob Awards take place biannually and are currently the largest advertising and communication awards’ event in Cyprus. In autumn 2022, SDEK became the official representative of Cannes Lions in Cyprus. The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is the largest and most important international competition in the field of advertising communication. SDEK is a founding member of the Cyprus Advertising Regulation Organization and the Committee for the Audit of TV Audience Measurement Research.
